El blues significa muchas cosas para
mucha gente diferente. Para algunos
-los puristas- son los golpes crudos,
honestos y demoniacos de Robert
Johnson. Para otros, los gigantes
que le siguieron; desde Howlin’ Wolf
a Muddy Waters, sin olvidar a los reyes,
Albert y BB King, mientras que,
para otros tantos, en cambio, es ese
rock’n’roll cargado de las viejas influencias
de los anteriormente nombrados
que practicaban Cream o
unos primerizos Fleetwood Mac.
La verdad es que blues puede ser lo
que uno quiera. Si un grupo de músicos
quiere beberse unas cervezas
o un par de whiskeys, fumar tabaco
de liar sin boquilla, enchufar una guitarra,
emular a viejos demonios, ver
qué pasa y llamarlo blues, quién tiene
algo que argumentar en contra.
La banda se forma en algún momento
del año 2009 en Jaén capital, con
la única premisa de juntar a cuatro
amigos (gentuza de bandas como Cabeza de Caballo, Xkrude o Santo Rostro) en un agujero mohoso, beber
cerveza y canalizar la frustración
y la creatividad tocando rock-blues
ruidoso y crujiente.
No es hasta 2011 cuando la banda
se estrena en directo en los ciclos
de rock de Jaén. Desde entonces,
ha seguido tocando por el territorio
andaluz en todo sitio donde les han
dejado llevar su bizarro espectáculo
(esto es, una amalgama de riffs con
sabor a rock crudo, mezclados con
blues de raíz bastarda y aderezados
por jams primitivas, cervezas y humo)
cosechando en todos ellos una gran
acogida por parte del público.
Durante el pasado 2013 vio la luz
su primera demo, ‘The Grandma is
Dead’, grabada en los Black Bunker
Records de Jaén (porque todo en familia
sale mejor) y totalmente autoproducida,
con la cual la banda ofrece
una carta de presentación para
mover su directo, medio en el que se
siente más cómoda. A este primer
trabajo le seguirá un inminente larga
duración, previsto para la primavera de este 2014.

The blues is many things to
many different people. For some
-the purist are raw beats,
honest and demonic Robert
Johnson. For others, the giants
which was followed; from Howlin 'Wolf

Albert and BB King, while
for many others, however, is that
rock'n'roll loaded with old influences

Cream practicing or
a first-Fleetwood Mac.
The truth is that blues can be
you want. If a group of musicians
want to drink a beer
or a couple of whiskeys, smoking snuff
for without nozzle liar, plug a guitar,
emulate old demons, see
what happens and call it blues, who has
something to argue against.
The band is formed sometime

Records of Jaén (because all family
best out) and completely self-produced,
with which the band offers
a letter of introduction to
move your live environment in which
more comfortable. This first
Work will follow a long imminent
duration, scheduled for the spring of 2014.
