Biografía
DORMANTH was born in Bilbao in January of 1993 after several experiences of its components in different bands like NOPRESION (Oscar del Val), BEER MOSH (Javi Martínez) or ELBERETH (Maciej Zienkiewicz).
After consolidating their formation with Jorge Elizalde (Bass & Vocals) and Santi G. Mendezona (guitar) they recorded their self-produced demo "SADNESS" in January of 1994, selling all the copies and opening several doors, demonstrating their value directly by the Iberian Peninsula.
A year later they decided to make the jump and record their CD "VALLEY OF DREAMS" securing them as one of the groups with more projection within the national extreme metal scene.
After a season doing concerts, problems arise in the bosom of the group getting to change their drummer.
Three of its components (Jorge, Santi and Oscar) decide to continue playing. In 1996 the group ceased its activity, resuming it in 2015.
That year an EP "VOICE OF THE SOUL ..." was recorded as an anniversary gift for fans of the band who still ask for their return to the stage.
In 2016 recorded their CD “WINTER COMES”, true death-doom melodic old school with Oscar del Val in front of a new line up
